The is going to take a while
Dec12
Well, at least we know the kids aren’t habitual liars, right? If they were they’d have worked to get their stories straight beforehand.
So how should this go? Should Minerva belief – either of – them? Or is this that sort of mom superpower intimidate thing?
Didn’t you know? Moms roll natural 20s on Intimidate checks and can see through most bluffs made by lower-level units without having to roll for it.
Theory 1 – she’ll just say “forget it”, send Will home and Elinor to her room, and go about her normal business.
Theory 2 – she’ll get curious about whatever story they cook up and start doing some investigating of her own, which may or may not result in her stumbling onto another plot device.
I know MY mom had that ability. She says it was useful, too.
Not that I *ever* did anything to cause her to use it. That was my sisters, I swear!
More a question of what does she Think went on. If they can play on that they might get off from the truth. Though in all honesty him coming clean on things right now would be best for all involved.
Sure, what are the odds THAT happens? I don’t think Will is the trusting sort.
The post is called “The is going to take a while”, if anyone cares.
