Some kids just don’t know how to sell a lie, do they? I suppose that speaks well of Ellie. But Will DOES know how to sell it. And, in this case, that speaks well of him, doesn’t it?
It’s complicated.

It’s complicated.
Will knows how to sell it because everyone’s been lying through their teeth to the Lowes. Good for him, having the resolve to tell Ellie about what’s really going on. Even so, that’ll probably come back to bite him as some point, possibly literally.
Well, I like that you praise Will for telling Ellie. But I doubt he had any altruistic motives for it. He doesn’t seem like the do-gooder sort, does he?
It’s hard to tell. He’s part of the town, so his loyalty should lie with preservation of the town secret. He seems to like Ellie though, or at least have warmed to her, so it could go either way. He might be a major focus later on though.
The Eye is upon you!
A great, lidless MOM-eye!
Wait until you see Friday’s comic!
I have a feeling that Will’s attempt to “help” by taking the blame is just getting Ellie into hotter water.
Well, at least he’s being more Gallant than Goofus, right?
